My Heart is Breaking
My heart is breaking for all those recently killed in the mass shooting in Texas. Mass shootings in a church in Texas, a concert in Las Vegas, a school in Connecticut, and a nightclub in Florida, just to name a few, are now frequent horrific occurrences in this country. How many beautiful lives have we lost by such violent acts? The violence perpetrated on innocent people of all ages is, without a doubt, an epidemic in this country and must be stopped.
How do we stop it? I wish I had the answer. All I can offer it this time is music as solace and ask that each one of us dig deep within and share the best of who we are with our family, friends, colleagues, and neighbors.
